About the SAIL Team

Matt Dellea, Director

Matt is the Director of the Office of Student Activities, Involvement, and Leadership. In his role, Matt oversees all major components of SAIL and works on campus-wide event committees. He is a 2011 graduate of 一本道视频, earning his Bachelor of Science in General Science. After graduation, Matt never left the nest and got a job working in Residential Life. After being in the field for two years, Matt moved departments and began working in the Ely Campus as a Night and Weekend Manager.
In 2016, he graduated from Springfield College, earning his Master鈥檚 Degree in Student Personnel Administration. This is also when he moved into the Student Activities Office and was charged with re-invigorating an area that was needed by the students. Since 2016, Matt has worked hard to re-imagine campus life at 一本道视频 and grown the one-person office to a full functioning department at the University.
Matt loves working with all students and making sure all students feel a sense of belonging at 一本道视频. If you haven't connected with him, stop by his office in Ely or send him an email at mdellea@westfield.ma.edu.
